Fox Meadows Supportive Living is the only supportive living community in Hamilton County.
The community, which is designed to serve adults 65 and older of all incomes who need some help to maintain their independence, is adjacent to Hamilton Memorial Hospital, on South Marshall Avenue, south of Highway 14 and west of Highways 142 and 242 in the southeastern Illinois community of McLeansboro.
Fox Meadows Supportive Living opened in December 2008 and is managed by JSL Management Solutions, owned by McLeansboro native Blair Minton. Developed by the property owner Fox Meadows NFP.
As a supportive living community, Fox Meadows is a major asset to the area, benefitting 2/3 of the older adult population in Hamilton County who do not have the financial resources to afford private pay assisted living.

Our community combines residential apartment home living with the availability of personal assistance, support services and opportunities for residents to enjoy the companionship of friends and neighbors and to participate in social events and programs.
The one-story building houses 41 studio and one-bedroom apartments, each with its own kitchenette, private bathroom with shower, and emergency response system. Community areas include an activity room, beauty/barber shop, dining room, living room with fireplace, patio and television lounge.
Certified Nursing Assistants are on-duty 24-hours a day, seven days a week to provide the personal assistance needed by residents. They work under the direction of the community’s licensed nursing staff.
The emphasis at Fox Meadows is on providing residents with the dignity they deserve and on helping each resident maintain as much independence as possible for as long as possible.
